Can you tell me what the weight should be for a ten Year old girl measuring 4 feet 9 inches?

Dr. Melissa Gowans
20 years experience in Pediatrics
Healthy weight: The RANGE for acceptable "healthy" weight for a girl of 4'9" is 62-87 pounds. The more important details are: is she maintaining a healthy life-style? Is her diet healthy? Does she get regular, consistent physical activity? Instead of focusing on a number, focus on eating well as a family and doing physical activities together (hiking, biking, walking etc).
