Common, yes.: Having diabetes increases your chances for all types of yeast/fungal infections (as well as bacterial and viral infections). Probiotics and/or yogurt might help prevent yeast infections by keeping you populated with good bacteria. Also, keep sugars controlled. stay calm/de-stress your life, avoid antibiotics unless you need them, and keep dry (yeast likes to grow in warm/moist places).

Diabetes raises the: risk for yeast infections. Colloidal silver, olive leaf extract, and garlic (raw, liquid,or capsule) are all used for yeast infections. At the root level, reversing your type II diabetes is the best way to go. Please consult your doc for a plan of action which may involve lowering carb intake and some form of exercise. Catching this at a young age can prevent bigger issues down the road. Peace.
