Relative indication: High blood pressure is a relative contraindication for the use of the oral contraceptive pill, because it can make the blood pressure worse and increase the complications of the pill. Some physicians will still prescribe the pill if the B/P is well treated with medications. You need to discuss this with a GYN MD.
