Nausea in pregnancy: Pregnancy hormones increases your gag reflex. Timing, quality and quantity of food becomes critical to prevent nausea. Avoid hypoglycemia by eating complex carbohydrates such as non-citric fruits. Fatty, spicy, tomato based meals should be avoided late in the day. Small multiple meals (every 3-4 hours) are preferred to the traditional 3 squares. Consult your physician about reflux.

I agree but: If u are miserable or vomiting, you can use medicine. Zofran 8 mg tablet, 1/2 2x per day, Phenergan (promethazine) 25 mg at night, may cause drowsiness. If associated with insomnia, anxiety and depression, mirtazpaine blocks 5ht-3 just like zofran, helps with sleep, appetite and anxiety. A Medrol dose pack if it's severe, ginger can help, b-12 and unisom together can help; at times reflux adds so zantac 75 da.
