Not really.: Graphite is an intert and nontoxic material which will not harm your health. However, it can cause permanent pigmentation if left in place in a wound. Most commonly, a pencil tip in the skin won't cause any toxic problems, but if not removed and the wound properly cared for, dark "tattooing" pigmentation may remain permanently.
