Vaginal yeast...: ...can cause "paper cut" sores, especially in area of general inflammation from yeast (red, irritated, itchy). It takes a few days for monistat to work, but some yeasts are resitant to it. If you're sure you had yeast, wait a few days and see if it clears up. If severe (e.g. multiple blisters or open sores) it could be herpes, so get care ASAP if in doubt -- or in a few days if not clearing up.
