Missed a period?: Have you missed a period? If you have you could have an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurs outside of the uterus and is a life threatening condition. There are other reasons for lower abdominal pain, some dangerous like appendicitis, some are not, but if your pain is severe i suggest you be seen as soon as possible.
