Can be: The birth control patch contains Estrogen which can lead to breast tenderness. Schedule a visit for a breast exam. If you are not satisfied with the side effect consider using a non estrogen containing method such and Mirena, (levonorgestrel) Skyla, Paragard or Nexplanon.
