Depends on "contact": It depends on what you mean by "contact". Regular contact--talking, shaking hands, etc--is not dangerous. Sexual contact however would run the risk that the uninfected person would contract hiv. Hiv is only transmitted through body fluids, so just regular "hanging out" is fine, but anything that involves possible transfer of body fluids (blood semen) would be dangerous.
