Hard to say: It is hard to say what the cause of your failure to conceive is. An infection following an abortion or a botched abortion certainly can cause infertility but statistically a single abortion does not impact the fertility rate and there are many causes for infertility and sub-fertility. That is the reason that a work-up is necessary in order to treat infertility. Hope this helps.
