i've been coughing up phlegm in the morning after i wake up on and off for months, sometimes brown. my dr. doesn't seemed concerned but still it persists. also occasionally experiencing a minor sore throat. no allergies to my knowledge and non-smoking,

WHILE THE PROBLEM MAYBE ALLERGY BASED OR AS A RESULT OF GERD BOTH OF WHICH MAY LEAD TO CHRONIC INFECTIONS A FURTHER EVALUATION IS WARRANTED BEFORE THERAPY IS SUGGESTED IN LIGHT OF THIS PATIENT HAVING BEEN ALREADY SEEN BY HIS DOCTOR
