Mucus plug: It sounds like you have lost your mucus plug. This happens as the cervix begins to thin, relax and shorten in preparation for delivery. This does not necessarily mean delivery is eminent. It may be 2 weeks or more before actual labor begins. If you notice any loss of fluid, bleeding or pain, it is time for an evaluation.
