Sounds like IBS: You need consistency and progressive increase in meds to the goal of about one smooth BM daily. This is easily achievable with a combination of low dose common medications. Linzess is reasonable but expensive. You need a good relationship with a doc on the ground who can walk you through the sometimes rocky road...
