Hello. my period was almost a week late and ir was just brown blood. i am supposed to start my period according to my birth control this week. any sug?

Bleeding on bcp: Recommend pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant. However, this could be very normal. Some pills can cause your flow to decrease significantly and sometime stop the periods all together, and that's fine. If you are not pregnant, continue to take your pills timely. Not bleeding on bcp doesn't carry any risk, & most likely will decrease your risk for unplanned pregnancy.
