Consult doctor: Please consult your doctor immediately. Use other form of contraception or abstain from sex. Discontinue the pill while waiting to see your doctor.

Yup!: If the vein that has the clot is just under the skin, it is a superficial thrombophlebitis. This type of clot does not travel to the lungs, but, superficial thrombophlebitis can be painful and treatment may be needed. It can be cause by OCP.... but made worse by pregnancy. Do not stop the pill. See your doctor about changing to a non hormonal or progesterone only contraception.
