No: You may have a mucoseal. Like a blister on any surface that gets rubbed to much. Some times when popping the problem goes away. In the mouth trauma(biting your lip in this case)sets up a problem within the the mucous gland in the area and you may need the blister removed by your dentist.

Fluid: If it was a clear liquid, not pus. If white and foul tasting, pus. You have a wound. Have your Dentist examine you and evaluate your healing. You may require antibiotic coverage.
