Urologist: Have a urologist examine your scrotum and testicles to make sure that there is no fluid build-up(hydrocele),hernia, or abnormalities of the testicles. An ultrasound may be ordered also for evaluation. If these are normal,the fluctuation of scrotal size or contents would be normal variations.

Possible Hernia: An inguinal hernia can cause the scrotum to enlarge when straining to defecate and also when ambulatory. Suggest you see your GP for evaluation. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
