A member asked:

Are menstrual cycles induce-able? if so, what are some possible ways to "force" or jump start a period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Whether you can induce a period depends on where you are in your cycle and what if anything you are using for contraception. If you are using pills, patches, or rings, you can just stop them early and a period should start. If your period is late and you aren't pregnant or menopausal, your period should start after a course of progestins. Hope this helps.
