Glaucoma likely: Epiretinal membranes cause distortion of the vision but don't usually alter color sensitivity as a rule. Glaucoma causes a loss of photoreceptor sensitivity and as these disappear, the color can be diminished. So glaucoma is more likely the cause of your color washout.
