Hypothyroid: Many things can cause hypothyroidism from infection, metabolic disorders, hormonal issues, central nervous system issues, autoimmune disease, etc. Celiac disease is simply an autoimmune problem.

Depends: There is a link between celiac disease and hashimoto's. Anything that triggers autoimmunity can be the cause.
