Normal & expected: A small amount of bleeding is common and to be expected when a woman loses her virginity. Continued spotting for a couple of days is less common, but if it appears to be decreasing and you are not having any pain then it is probably not cause for concern. Sexually transmitted disease (STD) is a real risk and you should be checked for STD, and use condoms consistently in the future.
