We are on vacation without allergy meds for kids. can i split an adult benadryl (diphenhydramine) tablet in half to give my 3.5 yr old, weight approx 32-34 pds?

Quarter tablet rather: split the half tablet into half (quarter tablet) and give it to your child every 4-6 hours as needed, that makes 6.25 mg / dose if the tablet is 25 mg, don't exceed 37.5 mg / day, if no improvement see a doctor, good luck
