Reflux: Symptoms could be acid reflux. This condition causes some symptoms you are describing. Trial of protein pump inhibitor or H2 blocker to see if symptoms improve. Lifestyle/dietary modification including: weight loss, elevation of the head of the bed, selective elimination of dietary triggers (fatty foods, caffeine, chocolate, spicy foods, caffeine). Try not to eat after 7pm. Check thyroid as well.
