All mds,Radiologists: All doctors are taught how to examine breasts in medical school. All radiologists learn how to interpret mammograms. A radiologist can do a fellowship in breast imaging to become expert in this field, but this is not required.

Radiologists: specialize in mammography. Breast surgeons specialize in examining breasts, although other types of physicians like OB/GYN, internists, and Family Practice may also be skilled in breast exam.
