A member asked:

Its my second day using econazole nitrate for ringworm but it seems like its spreading. does it happen before it gets better?

It could.: Fungal infections are difficult to treat and require at least 2 weeks for complete resolution normally. Be patient and continue to use the medication.

Ring worm: Ring worm is a skin fungal infection and has nothing to do with "worms." The medication has not had enough time to work. Give it a couple of more days before becoming alarmed. Then, if it is not diminishing, call your doctor.
