Smart: You are quite smart to realize and know the connection between NSAIDS- non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs- such as Motrin, Advil (ibuprofen) etc. Typicallybit takes years of use to develop kidney injury although in rare instances it can occur earlier. The bottom line is millions upon millions of people take Motrin and tolerate it. Simple rule: take if you truly need and ask your doctor first.
