Ibrutinib: Has been shown to be sufficiently safe and effective to get FDA approval for the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. As a newer agent, we are still figuring out its best role, and whether it can be combined with other drugs. Ibrutinib is also being studied in other types of lymphoma. The data is not in yet, but responses have been seen in individual cases.
