Oligomenorrhea: A normal span between periods is 21-35 days. Patients with longer spans between periods have either Oligomenorrhea (infrequent cycles) or Amenorrhea (lack of menses). The first thing to rule out is always pregnancy. If ur home pregnancy test is negative, then see ur clinician for an exam and lab tests to rule out other causes, including hypothyroidism, stress, excessive exercise, wt loss, etc.
