Mgt: Cough due to a viral illness will typically resolve within 10 days. If you have post nasal drip or asthma, the cough may worsen at night. Using a nasal saline spray and blowing your nose before bedtime will help reduce the cough. If you are experiencing a cough with chest tightness or wheezing, please see your PCP.
