Codeine: May be not but since the medication contained codeine it would have to have been prescribed for you which would explain why the test may be positive.

It usually takes 4-7 days for opiates to clear from the body. It depends on several factors such as health of the liver, presence of competing substances for metabolism, etc. Since you have a very important job driving a school bus, you need to be sure and talk to your doctor about your medication and the risks of driving while on your medicine. You may need time off from work till you are well.
