Nerve pathways: People use the term pinched w/o accuracy, but Yes, this likely does follow a nerve pathway. Knowing it's a long time helps. Don't do it w/o freq breaks or changes of position or an ergonomic corrective. A DO, chiropractor, PT, OT, etc. can advise you. Modern work settings put us a risk for this if we're not careful.
