A stomach virus: Sinus infection is caused by overgrowth of bacteria in sinuses. The only way one can pass such infection is by coughing, sneezing and sharing respiratory particles on others. This would cause you to have cold like symptoms first. If you just got diarrhea, it may be another stomach bug you may have contacted, which usually passes away in a couple of days on its own. Feel better!
