Depends which Nyquil: There have been reports of serotonin syndrome (bad) with the SSRI's paroxetine & fluoxetine when taken with dextromethorphan (cough suppressant found in over-the-counter cough meds). Risk can last for weeks after stopping SSRI.Citalopram is an SSRI with unknown risk, suspected to be less, but symptoms of suddenly stopping an SSRI taken for long period of time can be worse than having a cough/cold.

Celexa/Nyquil: It is best to consult your doctor before stopping any medication. Also, the interaction between the two medications is safe.
