If i start birth control 2 days before my period will it delay my period? also will taking 5 b.c. pills as a e.c. delay it too??

Probably will, but..: After these pills, one's artificially elevated hormone levels will drop and then vagina bleeding will begin. Disturbing the natural cycle of hormones with emergency contraception hormones can mess up the timing and quality of the "period" bleeding for the current cycle and even the next cycle. One should stay on the birth control pills, taking one a day, to regain regular cycling from the pills.
