Don't worry: The pain of ovulation can range from a mild twinge to severe discomfort and can last from minutes to hours. Some women never feel any pain associated with ovulation, while other women consistently have pain every month and can determine by the pain that they are ovulating. Ovulation pain is common and usually not a reason for concern. When severe it could be related to endometriosis.
