Prolactin increase: Prolactin hormone was increase when you were pregnant, but should no longer be at elevated levels in your blood stream presently as you are no longer pregnant. Have your MD do a blood test for the hormone, which if still elevated, can be suppressed with a medication called bromocriptin mesylate (Parlodel) which will dry up the milk.
