Go see ur family doc: Oral contraceptives ie birth control pills lower risk for pregnancy but can't prevent sexually transmitted infections/diseases (STIs/STDs). Cervicitis is painful inflammation of cervix. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) can cause pain w/movement of cervix. Best to see your family doc for (re-)evaluation. And remember to use condom each & every time in addition to take hormonal contraception.
