MASTALGIA: MASTALGIA is breast pain , MASTITIS IS BREAST INFLAMMATION. You need a full exam labs. Also mammogram and ultrasound of the area in question to define the anatomy. If exam is consistent with FBD=Fibrocystic BREAST Disease limit caffeine consumption and also take Vit E. As always follow up with your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen
