A member asked:

Is it possible to test for cancer even if you don't have any symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: There are numerous cancers that are clinically silent and are not manifest until they are large and incurable. However, many of these if caught early can be cured. Some of the routine early screenings that are recommended include breast exams (by the physician and with mammograms), prostate examinations, skin examinations (in those with fair skin and sun exposure), colonscopies.
