Several things work: The immune system will cure it in time (a few weeks or months). Several treatments also are effective: freezing or curetting (scraping the lesions away) by an experienced clinician; and various prescription ointments or creams, especially imiquimod (US trade names Zyclara®, Aldara ®). If this is in your child, follow pediatrician's advice. For adults, see dermatologist or an NHS GUM clinic.

Molluscum Contageosu: The skin develops small lumps which are pearly-white or slightly pink. Each lump (molluscum) looks like a small swelling on the skin and is round, firm, and about 1-5 mm across. A tiny dimple often develops on the top of each molluscum. The mollusca will usually go away without treatment within 12-18 months.http://patient.info/health/molluscum-contagiosum-leaflet
