Inflammation: While this could be due to various reasons we think about pleuritis(inflammation of the covering around lungs) or pericarditis(inflammation around covering over heart). Advise to get thoroughly evaluated.

R/O PERICARDITIS: You may have inflammation of the heart=PERICARDITIS vs inflammation of the lungs =PLEURITIS. Often times these occur after a viral URI. They tend to resolve with rest/hydration /NSAID(indocin) if it persists as course of prednisone may be needed. You need a prompt evaluation EKG/CXR AND LABS. See your doctor or go to ER asap.
