Definitely not: Flucloxacillin is an antibiotic, which can only help a bacterial infection. Most coughs are not due to bacteria; even when they are, it would take several days to help the cough. Nobody should ever take any antibiotic without a doctor's evaluation and prescription. Contact your GP about further evaluation of your cough and perhaps a propoer cough suppressant. Good luck!
