Common: Could be unovulatory bleeding. It's very common.

See your Doctor: If this just happens once, I wouldn't be too concerned. If it becomes a persistent pattern, month after month, you should see your doctor. It can mean you aren't ovulating or have a Gyn problem. Best wishes!
