Need evaluation: If you still haven't started having periods by age 18, you need to be seen and evaluated. This is not normal. The causes vary and a full history, exam, and appropriate testing is needed in order to know what is going on. Hope this helps.

Consultation needed: Girls without any breast development by 13 or menses by 15 should have an evaluation by an endocrinologist. There are hormone, structural and genetic reasons that this may happen, and you need to see what the reason is before we can speculate on any treatment.
