Infection: Hi Roy958 If your son is below a month old, take him to the ER. Sweating can simply be a response to increasing body heat, but is also stimulated when the immune system is stimulated by infection. The same applied to a chill feeling, which can reflect physical cold, and part of the response that leads to shivering to generate muscle heat. But also can be serious infection. See a doctor.
