Halitosis: Bad breath in a sick child is usually caused by the infection itself, whether it be sinusitis, Strep throat or others. The best course of action is to eliminate the cause (the infection).

2 things: Bad breath may be due to infected tonsils/adenoids. Should be evaluated by Pediatritian. Can also be due to dental problem such as decay (from baby bottle syndrome) or from oral hygiene problem. See a Pedodontist, a childrens' dental specialist. This is important, both specialists should be seen ASAP.
