UTIs commonly driven: by wiping back to front, not cleaning well (eg w/o baby wipes) after evacuating, using perineal antibacterial products & especially incomplete emptying of bladder. Emptying bladder to below 5 cc at least once daily critical to preventing faster bacterial regrowth. Daily cranberries (not juice) helpful for many. Freq. antibiotics often aggravate issue. Positive cultures & no symptoms is not UTI.
