Early preg. Cramps: Mild menstrual like Cramping in the 1st trimester is common. If it is mild and there is no associated spotting or discharge, then typically this is a result from" growing" pains. If the pain is sharp, intense, aling with spotting or bleeding you need to see your OBGYN ASAP to ensure that the pregnancy is inside the uterus and not an ectopic pregnancy. Warm bathes, Tylenol (acetaminophen) are helpful for cramps.
