Dizziness: If your contact has shifted during your sleep, you may have dizziness when you first open your eyes due to not being able to see clearly out of one eye. Check your lens placement. If not improved, seek immediate medical attention. Best of health to you!

What is the best way to approach sleep training?

2 doctor answers5 doctors weighed in
Dr. Laura Webb
Pediatrics 13 years experience
Trial and error: There are many methods of sleep training out there and not one is perfect for everyone. Try one method and if it doesn't work for your family try another. All methods have in common the importance of a consistent bedtime routine. Start sleep training around 3-4 months of age and don't be discouraged if one method doesn't work out. Different children respond to different methods.

Vasovagal: It sounds like your blood pressure drops when you bend over or cough... In the normal sense the body is reacting more than what it should. Also you might have to get your blood pressure checked to make sure it is not varying significantly in different positions like laying, sitting or standing. Lastly positional vertigo is a possibility.

Oftentimes parents increase volume without adding milk in proportion to water making it more dilute, baby is starving , hence crying and won't sleep, constantly eating and not gaining weight.Formula fed or breast fed? I'd like to help, need more info. Tnx.
