To mention a few: Excessive hair loss can be due to chemical ,illness,medication,trauma. Hair braiding especially from the traction. Autoimmune diseases,thyroid dysfunction ,genetic tendencies and nutritional deficiences can all be responsible. See a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment
